Across the past 13 years Alison (Ali) has taught in early years and school settings, including a stint teaching in Japan and worked in a range of leadership, management and guidance roles. These have included managing a large team of educators in a busy long day care service and working as a pedagogical leader.
Ali views young children as active, capable and independent learners and believes in the power of strong relationships as integral to effective learning. This belief also drives Ali’s work with adult learners who can make informed decisions when they are grounded in strong professional knowledge. Her current and recent areas of focus include:
