Yoga and Mindfulness – North

Are you interested in supporting children to increase their confidence and positive self-esteem?
Would you like to explore strategies to provide children the skills to manage and describe their emotions?
Join us for an evening of exploring holistic techniques to assist children find balance and mindfulness through yoga.
Studies have found mindfulness programs improve mental health, sleep quality, concentration, wellbeing, the ability to manage and describe emotions, and reduces distress and tension
Yoga also helps children:
– Develop body awareness
– Learn how to use their bodies in a healthy way
– Manage stress through breathing, awareness, meditation and healthy movement
– Build concentration
– Increase their confidence and positive self-image
– Feel part of a healthy, non-competitive group
During this session you will be guided through breathing techniques, yoga poses suitable for children
