Yoga and Mindfulness

Join Marcy for a morning of exploring holistic techniques to assist children find balance and mindfulness through yoga.
Studies have found mindfulness programs improve mental health, sleep quality, concentration, wellbeing, the ability to manage and describe emotions and reduces distress and tension.
Yoga also helps children:
- Develop body awareness
- Learn how to use their bodies in a healthy way
- Manage stress through breathing, awareness, meditation and healthy movement
- Build concentration
- Increase their confidence and positive self image
- Feel part of a healthy, non-competetive group
Marcy is also a qualified Massage Therapist along with certificates in a range of other holistic therapies. This has solidified her passion and love for holistic practices, which compliments her work in early childhood education.
