Supporting young children presenting with anxiety – Burnie

Would you like to know more about anxiety?
Do you wonder about what this might look like in young children and how you can support them?
This 2 hour sessions will be facilitated by the University of Tasmania Psychology Clinic (UPC).
The UPC is a training clinic for provisionally registered psychologists who have completed four years of undergraduate study and are undertaking their postgraduate training in clinical psychology.
Participants attending these sessions will find out more about:
- What is anxiety?
- How to identify early warning signs of anxiety in young children.
- Strategies to support early warning signs of anxiety in young children both in early childhood services and home settings.
- A range of community services and support for families who may wish to seek further guidance and support for their child.
- Exploring daily practices within the early childhood services to support all children’s mental health and wellbeing.
