Dialogue on Pedagogy with Andy Gall
September 11, 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Inspirational stories from our community – Aboriginal culture education through art
Andy Gall is a Tasmanian Aboriginal Artist based in Hobart. Andy comes from a large Indigenous family with links to the Bass Strait Islands and has worked in and around Aboriginal Education in a number of roles.
As a young indigenous artist, Andy creates digital art using a variety of computer programs and an art graphics tablet. He enjoys blending a more European painting style with contemporary Aboriginal art.
He was the illustrator for the Aboriginal Education book ‘Songlines of the Moonbird’ as well as providing the art and animation for the short accompanying film. He currently works on private art commissions and draws native animals and prehistoric life as a hobby.
We are delighted to have Andy share his story with us.
Wine and nibbles will be offered to participants.
