Our Dialogue on Pedagogy series has been running for the past three years. Dialogue on Pedagogy sessions provide opportunities to listen to reflections on practice in an open, relaxed environment and delve into pedagogical issues that matter.

2020 topics and dates are:

Wednesday, May 20th: Implementing and sustaining an intergenerational program within an early year’s setting. Karin Eickhoff and Janelle Robinson, Centre Managers with Lady Gowrie Tasmania will share their experiences of connecting with local Aged Care facilities. These programs provide opportunities for children and the elderly to engage in shared interaction moments.

 

Wednesday, August 19th: Creating engaging and respectful environments for young children. This session will be facilitated by Melanie Hilder, a consultant and sector professional with years of experience as Director. 

 

Wednesday, October 28th: Reflections from the 2020 ECA National Conference. This session will be hosted by conference participants sharing their reflections from key presentations at the conference and open this up for dialogue with the group.

 

Times: 6:30pm – 8:00pm (light refreshments included)

Cost: $35 per person per Dialogue on Pedagogy
